Hello and welcome to the very first article posted at Millands Home. We hope you have had a chance to look around the site and can see that there are lots of other helpful articles and resources ready for anyone involved in an interior deco project, whether it be beginning, middle and end or anyone who simply loves interiors as we do, or anyone who is looking for a bit of lifestyle inspirations and some new and exciting ideas to try in your home.
Across all the pages created for Millands Home, our main focus is to offer people helpful solutions for their interior décor plans. The intention of each article/ blog is to present solutions, advice, inspiration and ideas to help people making changes to their homes. To support these ideas and solutions we have also created a useful ‘resources’ section, filled with additional learning, recommendations and suggestions of how you can further achieve your interior design dreams.
We understand that not every person has the same needs and we endeavour to make each article and recourse as valuable, constructive and supportive as possible. Our experience shows a variety of sticking points for people when undertaking an interior design project; budget, time, prioritisation, planning, inspiration, understanding personal style, desire to be more sustainable, environmentally aware or ethical in your choices, motivation, visualisation and many more. At Millands Home we aim to include solutions and ideas to resolve as many of these sticking points as possible throughout our site and ask that if you have a particular area where you feel stuck, please do get in touch and we will upload a new article to address your concern.
We very much hope you find it straightforward to find what you need and navigate your away around the site. As well as our search function we have also developed our own category symbols to highlight particular content within the articles, to help you see at a glance what will be covered. The content categories you can expect to see are around sustainability, environment, ethical factors, budget, timeframe, types of properties and the psychology of home. We have also developed ‘blog recipes’ where more than one blog might be useful or one blog may lead nicely on to another, these can all be found in the resources section.
